While Kris, over at Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers, had a pretty awesome week to wrap up, mine was not as great. Things have been quiet on the blog this week because I’m recovery from a mastectomy on Tuesday. Monday was the last planned day of homeschooling for the kids, although I may squeeze in a few days between Christmas and New Years. Tuesday was spent in the hospital. I came home on Wednesday and have been taking it easy ever since.
I can point you to a great post by Karen over at Homeschool Atheist Momma. It’s all about great books to use when raising skeptical kids. I’ll be adding quite a few of them to my “to read/get” pile. Look for a post on that soon. Otherwise, it hasn’t been a very book heavy week.
