I actually seem to be reducing the size of my reading list since I only added two books to my reading list week and I’ve read quite a few. They included:
Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. I’ve seen the
movie by Hayao Miyazaki and absolutely loved it, but didn’t realize the movie was adapted from a book until this week. I had two blog posts come across my feed this week talking about Howl’s Moving Castle. The first was from GeekMom, where they talked about what books they’ve read recently. The other was linked from a SFSignal post about 5 Series You Probably Missed As a Kid (But Should Read As an Adult). I figured the universe was trying to send me a message, and put the book on my list.
The second book is The Cancer Chronicles by George Johnson. The Quirks and Quarks podcast had an interview with the author that I found fascinating, and personally relevant, so I’m going to read the whole book and see what the author has to say.
Any good books you’d like to recommend?
